The "Running Animals" Paintings are abstractions that combine my personal iconography of marks with metaphoric pictures of gardens and images of prehistoric animals of the paintings in the caves of Lascaux and Altamira. The cave painted animals romp and hide in the bright modern landscape of fields, marks and flowers.
