The "Beach Bikes" Series were painted on Fire Island where the old and often rusty beach bike was the preferred and most efficient mode of transportation from one town to another. These paintings portray the riotous blossoms of summer with the rush of the sea as one takes an imaginary bike trip through the beach landscape.
